  Puri Beach is one of the most popular beaches in India , located in the city of Puri in the state of Odisha, India. Puri beach is  situated on the eastern sea-bed of India, is the only most popular sea-side resort where the beauty of the sky in radiant colours, the roaring waves and the golden beach can be experienced.  It is located on the shore of  ‘Bay of Bengal’ at a distance of 60 km (approx.) away from Bhubaneshwar, the Capital of Odisha. Everyday thousands of tourists visit this place .This beach is approximately 7 km in length. This beach has now become a favourite destination of both Indian and foreign beach lovers. Puri is famous for tourist attraction and a Hindu sacred place..The beach has continued to be a sacred venue for an endless number of pilgrims coming to pay homage to Lord Jagannath. At daybreak fishermen of Odisha come back to the Puri beach after fishing whole night  in the deep sea.Tourists  buy various fishes, conches, crabs, etc., on the Puri beach from the fishermen after their return.

This beach is also well-known for the sand sculptures created particularly by the world famous Sand Artist Sree Sudarshan Patnaik. Though many other nameless , unknown sand artists do the same almost every day on this beach.The subjects are generally inspired by sculptures covering the temple walls, characters and episodes from the mythology and also the contemporary events.This beach at Puri offers a unique opportunity to observe and enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset on the same beach. This beach is a comparatively clean and quite place.

During bath people enjoy playing with waves. They jump when the wave comes just infront of them. The breaking waves create fun for them. A breaking wave is a wave whose amplitude reaches at a maximum level and that causes large amounts of wave energy to be transformed into turbulent kinetic energy. I've captured this photograph on Puri Beach, Puri , Odisha, India.  

                                           

Just before sunrise the sky dramatically changes its colour. The sky looks awesome. Thousands of visitors or tourists come to the beach just before the daybreak leaving the bed empty and dedicating the pleasure of peaceful sound sleep just to feel the beauty of sky which is drawn by the nature on the canvas of sky at the daybreak . At the centre of this picture you can find an interesting incident which was going on. A dead Olive Ridley turtle was founded by a dog and it started to eat its body. Bad smell was spreading from the body of the dead turtle as it was decomposed.
