Digha is a seaside resort town in the state of West Bengal, India.
Digha is a seaside resort town in the state of West Bengal, India , is one such place in the vicinity of  Bay of Bengal , which can provide an environment exactly similar to other beaches in india, is the famous beach . It is  Situated almost around 200 KM from Kolkata and around 25 KM from the Mandarmoni beach, Digha is a beauty in its own.. It lies in East Midnapore district and at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is the most popular sea resort in the West Bengal. Renowned for its beaches, Digha is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Known for the beauty of the beach and the special sea-side food hubs, Digha is a wonderful visiting paradise for the visitors. Tourists mainly spot two places, the old Digha beach and the new Digha beach. The old Digha beach is more of for taking a dip in the water and spending a cool and calm time. The new Digha beach is more of a food hub come everything else. New Digha is much much more crowded compared to the old Digha. And as usual I visited both the beaches and  also did some shopping and as the sun set, I went in to the beach and sit there watching the lovely Bay of Bengal (in Bengali they call it ‘Bangopo Sagar’ ), with the tides rising high. Slowly the tide water came in and we finished our visit of the day, making a way back to the hotel. I go there seldom for refreshment of mind and to shoot from dawn to dusk without hurting any object and bring the digital copy back to my home . On the 14th Day of February , 2014  I visited Digha for refreshment of mind . It was an awesome opportunity for me as Digha Beach Festival-2014 was starting on that day. From the festival I got the opportunity to  captured the whole musical  programme of our very own  songwriter-composer cum singer   Hon’ble Nachiketa Chakraborty .You can enjoy the programme from  previous post --► Nachiketa LIVE at Digha Beach Festival 2014 [HD] .
However , Digha is one of the oldest seaside beach-cum-resort for tourists in West Bengal in the East Midnapore district. Visiting to Digha always allows you  visiting to the following nearby places: 1)  Udaipur , 2)  The marine aquarium and Research center , 3)  Lord Shiva Temple in Chandaneshwar ,  4)  Junput (40 KM from Digha) – famous for fishing , 5)  Shankarpur Beach , 6) Subarnarekha River , 7)   Talsari , 8)   Mandarmoni, 9) Mohana (BenFish Beach) .
From the Dawn to Dusk  I've recorded many video-clips as well as many photographs from all around Digha. Now after editing the video clips ,  now it is placed before you. I expect that you will enjoy the Delightful  HD Video. Thanks.

                                            Agradwip is situated on the bank of river Ganga ( or Ganges) under the District Burdwan , West Bengal , India. This sacred place is situated about six miles (aprox.) south of Katwa. It is situated on the west side of the Ganga, about 26 miles (aprox.) northwest of Mayapur . Sri Govinda, Sri Madhav, and Sri Vasudeb Ghosh lived here. The samadhi of Sri Govinda Ghosh is located in Agradwip. Govinda Ghosh thakur established the Deity of Sri Gopinath on the east bank of the Ganga near Agradwip. Krishnagar Chasapara ‘BURIMAA’ Jagaddhatri Puja - 2014

'BURIMAA' , Chasapara , Krishnagar  City , West Bengal , India  The idol of Jagaddhatri of Chasapara Barowari is the oldest one in Krishnagar and is well-known as ‘ BURIMAA ’. It is said that , in the year 1763   Raja (King)  Krishna Chandra Ray started  worshiping  goddess Jagaddhatri  in Krishnagar for the first time in  his own Royal Palace (Rajbari) .  The Jagaddhatri Puja at Chasapara Barowari was started in 1772 followed by its beginning at The Royal family of Krishnagar Rajbari the Jagaddhatri Puja in Krishnagar takes place on the ‘ Sukla Nabam ’ day of Bengali month  ‘ Kartik ’ and is one day’s celebration. The idol of  ‘ BURIMAA ’ is being adorned with huge amount of gold and silver ornaments in the previous (whole night) night of the Puja .
