Nachiketa Chakraborty or নচিকেতা চক্রবর্তী  is an Indian Bengali singer-songwriter and composer who is well-known for his modern Bengali lyrics and his own mode of singing. He became famous in the early 1990s, with the release of his debut album " Ei Besh Bhalo Achhi ". He started composing and performing as a student of Comilla College, under the University of Calcutta. In 1992 his first album " Ei Besh Valo Achhi " was released and it was an instant hit. At the initial stage he won the heart  huge youth of West Bengal, then as the time passed  he has touched listeners of all age groups. The colloquial language immediately hit the stagnancy of Bengali music in the early 90s. It is known from various media that he is following the path of Kabir Suman or  Suman Chattopadhay, Nachiketa changed the flavour of Bengali lyrics. He received  Best Male Playback Award in 2005 for the Bengali film Samudra Sakshi from Bengal Film Journalists' Association and Banga Bhushan in 2012, by the State Government of West Bengal.
On 14th February 2014 he joined Digha Beach Festival '14 along with his melody. Huge crowd gather to listen the spellbound melody and lyrics of Nachiketa Chakraborty as it was Valentine's Day , so the mode was really awesome. I went there usually as I go to Digha once/twice a year to refresh my mind and heard that Mr. Nachiketa Chakraborty is coming in this festival and will perform  so I waited and made no mistake to  record the whole programme.  After editing the video clips ,  now it is placed before you.                                             Agradwip is situated on the bank of river Ganga ( or Ganges) under the District Burdwan , West Bengal , India. This sacred place is situated about six miles (aprox.) south of Katwa. It is situated on the west side of the Ganga, about 26 miles (aprox.) northwest of Mayapur . Krishnagar Chasapara ‘BURIMAA’ Jagaddhatri Puja - 2014

'BURIMAA' , Chasapara , Krishnagar  City , West Bengal , India  The idol of Jagaddhatri of Chasapara Barowari is the oldest one in Krishnagar and is well-known as ‘ BURIMAA ’. It is said that , in the year 1763   Raja (King)  Krishna Chandra Ray started  worshiping  goddess Jagaddhatri  in Krishnagar for the first time in  his own Royal Palace (Rajbari) .  The Jagaddhatri Puja at Chasapara Barowari was started in 1772 followed by its beginning at The Royal family of Krishnagar Rajbari the Jagaddhatri Puja in Krishnagar takes place on the ‘ Sukla Nabam ’ day of Bengali month  ‘ Kartik ’ and is one day’s celebration. The idol of  ‘ BURIMAA ’ is being adorned with huge amount of gold and silver ornaments in the previous (whole night) night of the Puja .
